Hi, I'm Jim.

I’m a Content Designer & UX Writer who takes deep dives into complicated topics, figures out what really matters, and makes writing clear, useful, and (when relevant) a little entertaining.

ABOUT ME

My superpower is making complicated things clear. I dig deep, find the signal in the noise, work across teams to understand the problem, and turn what I learn into experiences that are useful, intuitive, and human.

Over the years, that approach has taken many forms: designing AI experiences, simplifying complex enterprise UX, creating style guides, teaching and mentoring students, managing million-dollar projects, building online courses, and writing 4 books.

I love sports, technology, spreadsheets, mountain biking, and mentorship.
